Artists from the Wellington region donated artwork to benefit the New Zealand Royal Foundation's Blind Guide Dog Services. Bayleys Real Estate, sponsors of the Blind Guide Dog Services, arranged the auction and raised almost $18,000 from auctioned artworks in just a few hours. The money will go towards breeding, raising and training one guide puppy who will be gifted to a local recipient.
Susan Knaap's artwork 'Intersection' was first 'on the card' and spirited bidding ensured a healthy contribution to the cause.
